In order to help safeguard the health of our employees and their families, our patients and visitors, and the community that we serve, Granville Health System has a COVID-19 vaccination requirement. Prior to their scheduled start date, all new staff must provide sufficient proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or have a medical or religious exemption request approved by GHS Human Resources. Offers of employment with GHS will be withdrawn in the event that the individual has not submitted sufficient proof of vaccination or has been approved for an exemption by the scheduled employment start date.
Our requirement applies to all new staff, regardless of clinical responsibility or patient contact, and has been developed to implement the federal requirements for COVID-19 vaccinations for all workers in health care settings under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Omnibus COVID–19 Health Care Staff Vaccination rule.
By introducing these measures, we hope to embody our mission of promoting well-being, accelerating health, and inspiring hope in our patients, our staff and their families. We extend our sincere gratitude to each and every one of our employees for their work in preserving public health.
